A deck drain is set flush into the balcony assembly with a cold fluid applied elastomeric deck coating running continuously under the lip of the drain. The deck is sloped at a minimum of 1/4 inch per foot toward the drain. An adjustable extension flange attaches to the metal deck above layers of batt insulation. A rain water leader drops down from the drain body through the insulation assembly.
