An aluminum cap plate finishes the head of the light gauge framed wall, which receives an interior layer of gypsum board and cavity insulation sized per ComCheck. A shim space is provided as needed between the framing and the tilt-up concrete wall. Continuous sealant beads seal the interface between the concrete panel and the storefront window frame. The storefront system is anchored directly into the tilt-up concrete wall opening.
