This wall assembly is constructed with six-inch cold-formed steel metal stud framing spaced according to structural drawings. Sound attenuation batt insulation is placed within the stud cavity to reduce acoustic transmission. Both sides of the framing are finished with five-eighths-inch gypsum wall board, and final wall finishes are applied per the interior elevation and finish schedule.
