This assembly features a 5-inch by 2-inch by 3/8-inch hollow structural section mullion secured to a substrate via a 1/2-inch by 8-inch by 5 1/2-inch steel cap plate. The cap plate is anchored with four 3/4-inch by 6-inch Titen HD screw anchors, installed according to the manufacturer's specifications. All steel components and fasteners are finished with a black paint coating to match the curtain wall mullions. The layout provides specific edge distances and spacing for the anchors to ensure proper load transfer.
