An interior partition wall assembly is framed with eight-inch metal studs with stud spacing sized per structural drawings. Sound attenuation batt insulation fills the cavity between the framing members. Both sides of the framing receive five-eighths-inch gypsum wall board layers. Final surface treatments and wall finishes are applied over the gypsum board per the finish schedule.
