A standing seam hip roof framing assembly is supported by structural steel framing members. A wide flange beam acts as the main structural support, intersecting with a column at the hip condition. The roof slope is framed out with structural elements bearing on the primary steel framing. Connections are detailed to transfer roof loads into the primary structural grid.
