A pipe penetrates through a roof assembly consisting of a concrete deck, vapor barrier, rigid insulation, cover board, and roof membrane. A pre-fabricated insulated curb with a metal face and base leg and a non-combustible nailer surrounds the penetration, extending eight inches minimum above the roof surface. Roof membrane flashing runs up and over the curb with a six-inch minimum lap. A pre-manufactured metal cap flashing and sealant are installed by the mechanical contractor over the curb, paired with a storm collar and membrane manufacturer standard flashing membrane around the pipe.
