An aluminum elevator threshold aligns with the finish floor, featuring a one-quarter-inch high mill aluminum saddle threshold similar to Pemko 2748 aligned with the face of the jamb with width verified in the field. A continuous stainless steel embed plate and structural steel angle support the threshold assembly, with size verified by the elevator manufacturer and painted where exposed or galvanized where concealed. The floor slab interfaces below with backer rod and sealant against a scheduled partition finished with a sixteen-gauge galvanized steel cover plate.
