A Type B curb transition connects a six-inch vertical curb and spill gutter to an eight-inch curb and gutter. The assembly maintains continuous drainage through the transition zone via a defined flowline and spill line. The lip of the gutter aligns along the exterior edge while the back of the curb transitions in height and profile between the two adjacent sections.
