A hollow structural section canopy member frames into a precast concrete wall panel using a one-half-inch by eight-inch by one-foot-zero-inch steel embedding plate. The plate is secured with four number six bent anchors welded with full penetration welds. The hollow structural section connects to the plate with a one-quarter-inch typical fillet weld. The assembly features variable above finished floor heights sized per architectural drawings.
