The Bosch DS160 and DS161 passive infrared detectors mount above card reader doors with wire entrances designated for incoming connections. A 24-volt DC power supply connects to the unit alongside terminal blocks linking to the system control panel. Dip switches numbered one through ten configure operational parameters with the relay mode set to fail secure. The relay timer and sensitivity remain field determined based on specific site requirements.
