An elevator door sill assembly and threshold bears on a concrete elevator pit wall. The elevator door sill sits on a 2-inch by 1-1/4-inch by 1/4-inch galvanized steel angle, which is supported by a structural steel angle anchored back to the concrete structure as required. Expansion anchors fasten the steel angle to the elevator pit wall. The steel angle size must be verified with the elevator manufacturer prior to installation.
