An insulated metal panel assembly meets a storefront head section supported by a structural steel beam and column. Head flashing aligns with the face of the storefront and insulated metal panel. Continuous butyl sealant is applied between the J-trim and the back of the panel. The insulated metal panel is notched out for a continuous base J-extrusion. The fin cap extrusion is notched for the head deflection track.
