A three-inch expansion joint separates two screen wall assemblies. Hollow structural section framing and structural steel members form the primary structure. Eight-inch galvanized G90 cold-formed metal framing spaced at twenty-four inches on center supports the screen wall. Exterior metal jamb trim at the joint edges includes a break metal cover affixed to one side to match the adjacent finish. Sealant is applied at the joint interface per product specifications, and the exterior face is finished with metal panel EXT-M1.
