Metal stud framed opening finished with gypsum wallboard on both faces. A metal corner bead protects the opening corner, installed over the gypsum board edges for a clean, durable finish. Batt insulation fills the wall cavity, and the metal stud framing forms the jamb of the opening. The assembly is dimensioned to define the width of the cased opening.
