An aluminum door frame is installed within a metal stud wall, supported by wood blocking and shims at the jamb. The wall assembly incorporates one and a half inch rigid insulation, a vapor barrier, and one and a half inch horizontal Z-furring spaced at twenty-four inches on center. The interior finish consists of tile applied over five-eighths inch cement board, with wall tile specified per finish plans. Caulk is applied on both sides of the frame interface to seal the junction. The aluminum door features glazing specified in the door schedule.
