A Sorpetaler wood window from the window schedule connects to cold-formed metal stud framing with sheathing and insulation. The exterior finish consists of a weather barrier behind a three-coat stucco system terminated with a metal stucco J-mold. A sealant joint with backer rod and shim seals the transition between the window frame and the exterior wall. Gypsum wallboard lines the interior surface, and a roller shade guide is mounted near the window head.
