A mechanical screen door jamb assembly features two-by-two square structural steel tubing framing members. A steel plate is welded to the hollow structural section column to support a pivot-type hinge. Panel edges are bond sheared, ground smooth, and typically tack welded. All structural members are galvanized and field-painted to match. A one-inch clearance is maintained at the jamb condition.
