A canopy frame constructed from a six-by-two-by-one-eighth-inch channel connects via bolts through a tab. A one-and-a-half-inch metal deck holds back one inch from the perimeter above a metal head flashing and formed metal closer. Formed vertical and horizontal sub-framing supports the rainscreen assembly. A weather-resistive barrier laps over the jamb flashing to maintain the building envelope.
