A storefront window per schedule bears on shims above a continuous metal flashing and concrete substrate. The window frame is secured to an L-angle embedded in liquid-applied flashing at the interior leg, leaving no fasteners penetrating through the liquid sill pan. Sealant and backer rod seal the exterior joint, while interior sealant with a maximum one-eighth inch gap finishes the junction against the finished sill per architectural specifications.
