Rigid insulation is installed beneath a continuous layer of reinforced membrane wrapped up the roof curb and secured with a metal cap or counter flashing fastened twelve inches on center. A seam fastening plate with fasteners secures the membrane base, finished with a cut-edge sealant. Bonding adhesive adheres the membrane to the vertical curb surface. Outside corners are wrapped using one continuous sheet of reinforced membrane or formed from coated metal per manufacturer instructions.
