Ceramic tile base is adhered to the wall with thinset mortar above a tiled floor assembly. The floor finish consists of ceramic tile set in a thickset mortar bed over a crack suppression membrane, with joints filled with grout. An elastomeric sealant bead seals the joint between the vertical tile base and the horizontal floor tile.
