Typical wall outlets and switch outlet boxes are mounted within wood and metal stud framing using Steel City number 7501 box supports and horizontal bar straps. Conduit supports are provided in accordance with National Electrical Code spacing requirements for the type of raceway required. Plaster rings are omitted from this view. Outlet boxes on opposite sides of fire-rated walls or partitions within the same stud space are separated by a minimum of twenty-four inches horizontally in accordance with international building code requirements.
