The pocket door head assembly is integrated into a metal stud wall, with the wall type determined per the project plans. A hollow metal frame is installed at the head, with sealant applied around each side to ensure a proper seal. The door track system is mounted within the frame, supporting the wood door which is specified in the door schedule. A removable fascia covers the track mechanism, allowing for future access and maintenance. Installation of the hollow metal frame must follow the manufacturer's specific instructions.
