The assembly anchors a sixteen-gauge continuous sill track to a concrete foundation or slab. Sixteenth-gauge metal studs frame into the four-inch or six-inch continuous sill track and are secured with number eight sheet metal screws on each side. The track is fastened directly to the concrete using powder-actuated fasteners spaced at two feet on center with two-inch end clearances, or alternately anchored using three-eighths-inch diameter Hilti Kwik Bolt TZ expansion anchors with a two-inch embedment spaced at forty-eight inches on center over a grout-filled depression.
