A quarter-inch galvanized bent steel plate forms a protective guard around a square downspout mounted against a concrete wall panel. The bent steel plate is secured using half-inch galvanized expansion anchors with four inches of minimum embedment into the concrete wall panel. Field verification of clearance requirements is required at the bottom of downspouts per the architectural plans.
