A parapet coping and curtain wall head assembly integrates a custom-formed aluminum parapet cap, scheduled PVC roofing membrane, and a stainless steel sheet metal substrate counter flashing. The assembly slopes one-half inch per foot toward the interior and incorporates foil-faced sub-roofing material, a termination bar, and high-temperature sub-roofing over mineral wool cavity insulation. Below the parapet, the curtain wall head transitions to a scheduled vision glass insulated glazing unit and shadow box panel. At the base of the detail, an aluminum curtain wall soffit mullion and scheduled metal soffit panel complete the junction.
