A three-eighths-inch steel plate is welded to the HSS column and extends outward to support the theater backdrop assembly. A three-and-a-half-inch outside diameter pipe for the theater backdrop is suspended beneath the steel plate. The adjacent wall finish is specified per the finish schedule.
