A 1-5/8 inch 12 gauge stainless steel strut channel supports the ceiling assembly below a PVC hollow wall anchor with a 1/4 inch screw spaced at a maximum of 2 feet on center. The anchor is set in a thread locker and passes through a continuous vapor retarder and PVC ceiling panel. A backing track or stud provides the support framing above, where additional support framing is not shown.
