This interior partition assembly consists of steel studs spaced at sixteen inches on center with five-eighths inch gypsum board applied to both sides. A sound attenuation blanket fills the stud cavity for acoustic isolation. The top of the wall is braced to the metal deck overhead at four feet on center. Sealant is applied at the perimeter joints, and a six-inch dimension marks the ceiling clearance.
