A motorized or operated roller shade with a protective fascia is mounted adjacent to a thermally broken aluminum storefront system. Full-length wood blocking is provided to secure the roller shade assembly. The storefront system interfaces with the exterior wall assembly and incorporates glazing specified in the glazing schedule.
