The detail illustrates the installation of architectural trim T46 attached below a continuous plywood nailer. The surrounding ceiling assembly consists of 5/8-inch gypsum board and an acoustic plaster finish applied over a 3-5/8-inch metal stud framing system. A minimum 1/4-inch overlap is specified between the trim and the adjacent finished ceiling.
