A deflection track and top track of a cold-formed metal framing assembly anchor to the underside of a post-tensioned concrete slab. One-eighth-inch diameter powder-actuated fasteners secure the deflection track into the concrete at twelve inches on center. The connection accommodates slab deflection while maintaining lateral support for the wall assembly beneath the deck flute.
