This interior partition detail shows a metal stud wall with gypsum board on each side terminating at an aluminum window mullion. A twenty-four gauge metal trim plate, floor to ceiling and anodized to match the mullions, wraps the wall end. A one-quarter inch gap between the trim plate and the mullion is filled with backer rods and sealant on each side. Double metal studs reinforce the partition framing adjacent to the mullion.
