Metal studs spaced at sixteen inches on center support a main runner with two number eight sheet metal screws at each end. One-inch by sixteen-gauge vertical straps secure the assembly with number eight sheet metal screws at each end. Diagonal one-inch by twenty-gauge straps attach to each side at twelve feet on center with two number eight sheet metal screws at each end. Hanger wires spaced at a maximum of four feet on center may be substituted for the vertical strap. Spacing dimensions range from fifteen to thirty inches with a four-inch maximum clearance.
