A six-inch diameter schedule 40 steel pipe stands seven feet long with a rounded concrete cap and is filled solid with concrete, finished with safety yellow paint. The pipe extends four feet above the finish floor or pavement level and beds three feet six inches into a concrete footing below. A half-inch expansion material encircles the pipe where it penetrates the slab or paving.
