A pipe penetrates a structural floor assembly per plans, finished with a floor finish where it occurs. A UL listed one-hour fire stop is installed around the penetration within the floor thickness. The firestop material, pipe material, penetration size, and minimum thickness are governed by the firestopping submittal.
