The aluminum door frame is centered on the metal stud wall and secured with wood shims against a box beam header. Metal J-mold is installed on each side at the gypsum board edge, with finishes returned to the frame on each side. Sealant is applied all around on each side of the frame. The aluminum door contains glazing as specified in the door schedule, and the metal stud wall type is determined by the floor plan.
