A stair guardrail and handrail assembly is anchored to a precast concrete-filled pan stair system. The guardrail frame consists of two-inch by one-half-inch steel tube rails and posts enclosing metal mesh panels. A separate two-inch by one-inch handrail is supported by a three-eighths-inch square steel handrail bracket arm featuring a bracket saddle countersunk for two stainless steel flat head machine screws. At the stair stringer and base, a three-and-a-half-inch by one-and-one-quarter-inch by one-eighth-inch angle frame completes the structural connection.
