A roof drain penetrates a concrete tilt-up wall with piping routed either above the slab or under the slab through the concrete wall. The exterior pipe is cut flush with the wall, patched, and caulked with the inside painted to match the building. The horizontal pipe below grade slopes at one-eighth inch per foot minimum and terminates with a splashblock or concrete hardscape at the overflow outlet. Finish grade or surface is maintained at six inches minimum, with an eighteen inch clearance at truckyard locations.
