Signage is mounted adjacent to doors with specific dimensional clearances, maintaining a minimum of eighteen inches from the door swing and centered on the tactile characters. Mounting height ranges from forty-eight inches minimum to sixty inches maximum above the finished floor to the centerline of the characters. Directional signs are provided on doors that are not accessible to the nearest accessible exit door.
