This plan detail shows cold-formed steel stud acoustic wall assemblies intersecting a structural column. An isolation strip is placed between the steel stud and the column to maintain acoustic separation. Dimensions of 1'-1 1/2", 11 5/8", 1'-2", and 6 3/4" locate the partitions relative to the column centerline. The wall assemblies are detailed further on the floor plans.
