A detachable wire rope deflector assembly protects building facades from wire ropes while enabling platform operations to transfer to the soffit anchor. The unit projects twelve inches and transmits six hundred pounds of inward and outward load to the building structure, with exact loading verified by manufacturer calculations. The method of attachment requires coordination with the structural engineer of record. A minimum five-foot platform clearance must be maintained beyond any facade or building feature that the platform travels outboard of during servicing.
