A fire-rated gypsum compound or fire caulk seals the gap at the top of the metal deck. Mineral wool board insulation fills the flutes above a 2-inch wide Z-clip. Gypsum board is fastened to steel studs terminating within a Fire Trak shadowline deflection track with Posi clips.
