The assembly is built upon metal stud framing covered with five-eighths inch Dens-Glass exterior sheathing and a fluid-applied air and water barrier. Adhered continuous expanded polystyrene insulation is secured with an adhesive base coat, wrapping with a base coat and reinforcing mesh at terminations. The light fixture housing is mounted over a wire opening, with its flange set in sealant or provided with a gasket. Perimeter joints are sealed using backer rod and sealant, and the exterior surface is finished with a base coat, reinforcing mesh, and finish coat.
