A metal stud connects to a slotted slip track using a number six screw at the center of the slot with a stand-off washer on each stud on both sides, spaced at five-eighths inch increments. A mezzanine joist occurs at the assembly where indicated. Screws to structure consist of two number eight screws at sixteen inches on center. Gypsum board finishes the assembly.
