A treated two-by wood nailer is anchored to the top of the masonry wall with one-quarter-inch by four-inch masonry screw anchors at twelve inches on center staggered. A wood fiber tapered edge strip rests on the nailer to provide a slope of one-quarter inch per foot. A waterproofing membrane extends below the nailer and is secured to the wall. A continuous metal cleat is fastened to the exterior face, and a metal parapet coping fits over the assembly using gasketed fasteners spaced per specifications.
