A reinforced roof membrane is installed over rigid insulation and roof sheathing, which bears on the structural roof assembly. Fasteners and fastener plates secure the membrane layers per manufacturer specifications. Joint locations include sealant applications with minimum clearances of one and one-half inches and one-half inch.
