Exterior wall transition between a vertical rib metal siding profile and an exterior Longboard 6-inch V-groove panel system. A continuous horizontal 2 1/2-inch 16-gauge zee profile provides backing and alignment to the window jamb where required. A hard-fastened J-track component secures the edge of the panel assembly using pan-head screws. Furring hat channels spaced at 32 inches on center support the exterior Longboard panels over the underlying weather barrier and insulation layers.
