Electrical outlet boxes are installed within a wall assembly specified per plan. Back-to-back outlet boxes maintain a minimum horizontal spacing of twenty-four inches. An acoustic pad wraps the outlet box to maintain wall assembly ratings. An additional layer of five-eighths-inch Type X gypsum board is provided.
